The Lesser Appreciated Music

The Lesser Appreciated Music

A Poem by Different Wings
"

seemingly simple sounds, selected silently

"
Chopped onions crossing olive oil
snow on roof, melting down
fingers tapping on the table
breezy sails, flapping 'round

crisp cards in hand with expert shuffle
popcorn, salt and butter- crunch
clapping hands in chaos chorus
flowers shivering in a bunch

high-heeled arches briskly clacking
ancient pages, turned with care
cats and kittens, purr so soothing
raindrops (tears) fall everywhere

breathless breathing with a lover
feet of birds across the ground
such the music of our earth
and universe- commence the sound

wow. this one's really good. I love how descriptive your writing is. I could imagine every line and they all were beautiful images.
