Honey Brownie Vanilla

Honey Brownie Vanilla

A Poem by Different Wings
"

A remarkable discovery

"
When I imagine an advertisement
for the perfect ice cream dish

I imagine this image
(or, at least, I do now that I see it)
That of a halo of a creamy cave
and hidden like an Easter Egg out in a yard
the brownie, thick and neat and square (ish)
at the cave's epicenter
It's all protected
by a shooting star, the sweet tail of which
burns calmly into the cave
I, an explorer, sent to gather evidence
soon make the groundbreaking
and entirely newsworthy discovery
that this dig could never

frequent a magazine
The feel is simply too unique
not one that a camera
could bring to light
