..and I Called You Mine

..and I Called You Mine

A Poem by Kala Benfield
"

.. To damn yourself in your own plan to be successful , will contradict yourself in your own way of falling in love.

"
In every single way ,
I think your a divine being.
Your made of complete antics
and exemption.
Your stubborn, yes.
I have the tolerance to
uphold that personal challenge.

Im miserable at its best.
I make it clear to you
that I am happy.
My life stands in your
perspective as easy.
The easiest part of living
is taking breath to stay .
I look at you, and that
all goes to the grave.

I feel your dark essence creep
over my shoulder when I walk away.
I know you want me to turn around,
but shes got you wrapped around her finger.
Its not reality, you just want something different.

Your tired of me wanting you.
I understand.
You just feel like home to me.

You walked across her floor,
asked her to dance.
Without her answer,
you grabbed her hand,
took her in your arms and planted a kiss
on her freckled forehead.
When in that very moment.
You remissed me.
You thought about us.

Imitated you and I.
I hope in my deepest indeavours that I'm
the last person you think about when you
slip unconscious at night.
I want to be the first person that enters your
thoughts in the morning.
I Pray that I am eveything to you still.

I chose to walk away when I saw you
that very day.
I understood that you wanted something different.
But I couldn't except it.

You'll sing her your love,
when shes lying in your bed;
in your perspective, lifeless.
I shouldn't say this.
I believe in a greater since of demand that I,
your once former love,
have greater passion then her.
Selfish I know,
to young,
I also understand.

But to love once,
you love twice.
To love twice.
You've dammed yourself
in your own conspiracy.
