Secret Love

Secret Love

A Poem by Kala Benfield
"

I still love him. & he doesnt know it.. at least i don think so...

"
I'll give you a secret,
if you give me one.

A divine whisper that
scratches at my veins,
releasing the blood flow
to my swollen brain.

Something so cryptic,
your heart will leap
& be absent from your
infected chest.
It will be mine forever.

I want to share my beloved secret,
fore I know the impact
it will have.
My dear,
My sweet essence,
let it fester your mind
into its dark abyss.

& the conniptions take place ...

I am a girl.
Crystals for eyes,
and green for mirrors.
I will howl when I am hungry.
I will feast of upon your lips,
draining each tear for your eye.

You are a boy.
Metallic gleams that stare.
Your outdated.
You could crush me with a single blow.

I can tell by the way you embrace
me during the days,
your in love with me.
But your over priced mind is too
helpless to say.
How pathetic.

Life;
in which both of us live,
We're to young.
To young to notice how beautiful
this cloaked phrase that I've coverted
for far to long is.

My secret love, my only escape,
I'll release the erotic secret.
It erupts my stomach.
It burns my throat.

& the consultation begins.

I buckled my knees,
slow,
slowly I fell into a state of mind that
I wish for you to save me.

& the execution of my debate continues..

Love is a story no one can compare.
To young to listen,
We Never Cared.

My lips are quivering as I spew the fragile words
that kill.
That make lives.

... I love you.

My secret.
My beloved secret has been told more then
once by other people.

I'm not the only one with this secret.
But I thought that I share my captivated
secret with you.

...I fall to my knees.
Slowly grasping the ground for balance.

Your terrifying glance scared me.

I should rephrase my secret,

... I Still Love You.
