WordsA Poem by Kala BenfieldPeople are stupid for trusting other people. Moral: dont trust anyone.
I've forfeited everything in my will.
To consume life to the fullest & let sick die. Let the healthy live. But more so let the lost be spoken for. Lies spill from the thieves that let us think we're acceptable to the eyes that tear us down. Cheat us into thinking we're trained to do what pleases them. What will happen when they find out we don't believe anymore? Arrested our minds and diminished them into oblivion. A universal world that only people who dance with the devil live upon. Its crusted with vengeance, torture. The dimension misled to the helpless. We can only bare so much. The prologue to my sonnet, the shake-up to hinder the sound of your whispers. Taunting. Frustrated and flustered. Disappointment courses my veins. scratches the scabs that cover my bleeding mentality. We smile to cover up the blood that seeps through our lieing lips. Killing us each day by day. Leaving us blind to the power of words.
