Hello

Hello

A Poem by Kala Benfield
"

its always your favorite sin that can do you in.

"

I couldn't help but notice

your breathing.

"Hello."

I couldn't help but notice

your staring.

"Hi..."

Two innocence,

warped in a hole they'll never climb out.

"Hello darling."

I couldn't help but notice

your love.

"Hello sweetheart"

Day by day you watch as she waits

for you patiently,

to walk into her arms.

"Hello."

"Hi."

But where was he?

I couldn't help but notice

your smell.

It burns her noise,

because its not hers.

I couldn't help but notice

her eyes water.

"I'm sorry."

Sorry was never good enough for

the already damaged.

It's always your favorite sin

that can do you in.

I like the last sentence and it's so true. for some reason this reminds me of a titile of a song called. "you had me at hello." :P
