MirrorsA Poem by Kala BenfieldPut me out like a harmful cigaratte. Drink me lifeless into a whirlpool of lust. From this lifeless pillow, I've made of no trust.
Choke me into a sense of death in life, shoot me with a bullet of lies, and unworthy hearts. Dreading the seconds I will never find him, or love him. Who is he? With your bullets, you'll shoot me into puddles of whiskey, I shall drown.
Found in the blindsight of my eyes, deaf to the words you've spoken. I'm sorry; I have yet to breathe. Your sweet senses are bitter and pure.
Put the bottle down. Throw away your gun. I will one day not drown and wither in decieving alcohol. Or breath-taking smoke, be shot in an unwanted mirror.
If I may say. I will be yours. I will assure you. I'll adore, we'll act as mirrors, because mirrors... Never lie... © 2011 Kala BenfieldAuthor's Note
