Game

Game

A Poem by Kala Benfield
"

I wrote this in a "spur of the moment" type deal. I was thinking of my love. So i wrote it down.

"

I've layed down my demons.

I've played your games.

Loving you,

is just not the same.

Spun my world 'round.

More then tried.

For the one I love,

he has died.

Please, oh dearest loved one,

come to love me,

once more.

I am ruined and dirty.

I yearn to be pure.

Like the all did once.

Angels.

When they reined the earth.

and they leave me doused,

with agony and sin.

But for what?

I do not come to reiterate.

For I love you,

not pain.

Please, oh funny and lame loved one.

I have come to be pure

once more

to be in your presense.

A presence in a fiend,

that you will adore.

I've tossed my sin.

I've won your games.

I've carved my way to your depth.

I've chiseled my arms to your love.

And covered up the shame.

Don't ever feel like your less than,

or equal to.

There is no equation for you to

compare to.

'Tis no game of mine,

Nor yours.

But with the hearts that won

and fouled the game that is divine.

Please, oh dearest loved soul,

Do you not want to query my one

and only poll?

It is not just,

nor is it a game.

But I'd of your "amour" (love).

For I will love

once more.
