Fears Angels Won't OvercomeA Poem by Kala BenfieldRun and hide my dear, they'll find you in the farthest hollows you fear. Shrieking angels cry there nightmare. Forth-righting promises, making it unable to bear. Tongues of swords and guns. The world is lowly; the day is fading, restless still, and dream. Morning light, silken flow'r of the hill. Gentle breaths, the airs attempting still. Dusk seems unfair. Night being frail leaving light dismembered. Lonely forests left to rot, rid of secrets Angels long forgot. Swords of the tongue anchor at fires will. Still beasts conquer the misfortune, a frown evolves into the smile that chills.
