Scream Dream

This is a poem i wrote about a dream i had last year!

I gazed out the window and into the pouring rain.

The tears running down my cheek almost matching it.

No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t get her off my mind.

I still loved her more than anything.

But I knew she would never be mine again.

I walked outside into the rain.

Then dropped to my knees and screamed.

Misery flowing through me.

Like the blood that began to fill my mouth.

My misery and blood choking me till I finally died.

            And then I woke.

I like that this is so full of emotion and so intensive.... "and then I woke". It gives you a blatant sense of relief. But then you wonder what all was the dream. When he wakes up, is he still in pain from a lost love? Or is he just worrying subconsciously?
