Broken angel's soul

A poem about a girl who lost herself in this world, she doesn't know where she belong

Lost inside the mind, searching for the way out

While looking at the sky far above, asking myself where I am destined to go,

Looking back at all the broken pieces finally getting fixed, my soul is happy,

And I finally can catch a breath

And I am wondering around the city of lost souls which are struggling to get out,

When all the sudden there’s a call and all I could hear was scream

A scream so loud and terrifying I couldn’t miss, it teared me apart

And the lost souls were screaming

 “Your name is here written, an empty space has opened”

And I am drowning deep in the sand, where is no air,

Struggling to breath and I saw you there,

Happy smiling, without a tear, without crashed dreams

Like you knew who you were,

Trying to catch on you,

Still falling into darkness, struggling to breath with broken wings

I am lost here,

When crashed on the floor full of broken pieces of glass and blood,

So tired and alone, still trying to catch some air

Struggling that it hurts, coughing and crying tears,

From the bottom of my heart,

But it hurts, like a knife would rip your skin apart,

I want to be alive again,

"Close your eyes, lay down,

Listen to the beat of the heart, with every beat you’re alive

Smile girl, look above"

But why should I smile? I am lost

"Your heart has wandered away on his own, your mind’s your compass

Listen to it,

It may show you a wonder, it’ll show you the magic"

My heart’s gone, my life’s a waste,

I can’t even breath, the knife inside my soul

Is cutting deeper in the wound,

"Spread your wings, it will catch you soon"

Here I am lost again, trying to catch some air

And I see you,

Like you know who you are,

Trying to get a hold from you,

And I reached for your hand and you held me tight,

Touched my soul and looked into my eyes,

Fire inside of them, please don’t let it go,

Don’t make it vanish,

What’s that a beating? Why it so peaceful?

Am I dead yet? Am I an angel with broken wings?

And I look at you,

And you spread your wings and hugged me tight,

Looked at me, with those powerful eyes,

And the kiss later at night

And I could breathe again
