Coming to an end

Coming to an end

A Poem by Kaitlyn

I sit around thinking of you.

I ponder about what I am going to do.

Indeed this hurt both me and you.

But what am I suppose to do?

I honestly can’t hold myself up anymore.

How can I hold both of us up,

While the rest of the world is push us down?

You lied to me

You cursed at me

You threw me face down into the dirt

You kicked me off the face of this earth

But I’m surprisingly still here.

I know now that this may seem a bit crazy

But maybe…

But maybe I’m still in love with you.

It’s never been easy for me to let go.

It’s crushing my very soul.

I’m now disappearing.

Who wants to save me?

Who want to help out a friend?

Well please hurry…

My time is coming to an end…..

Very heartfelt writing, in this. Often we love those who are bad for us and for some reason we can't let go. Maybe that reason is we want them to love us back so we hold onto them hoping for them to change. To me this only destroys our ego and our heart. If one is bad for another in a relationship it is better to walk away so love can find a better replacement. Why hold onto something that is no good from the start? It is like someone gets sick and choses to hold onto the illness. I wonder why.

Great write and very emotional. Enjoyed it.
