Valentine's Day

It's a love poem, pretty self explanatory.

I'm going to love you always,

For forever and a day,

You are my one and only,

And whatever else those cheesy cards all say.

 

I tried so hard to find the words,

To work out what to do,

But all you really need to know,

Is that I love you and hope you love me too.

 

I’ll buy you chocolates, roses and more,

All that your heart desires,

Nothing’s too much for you today,

We’ll be major, consumer driven, buyers.

 

But it’s not about money,

It’s not about things,

It’s about our love,

And the opportunities this day brings.

 

I’ll take this chance to remind you,

You’re always in my heart,

And that’s where I’m going to keep you,

No matter how far apart.
