Chapter 1 : The Adventure Starts Now… :

Nico’s POV :

It’s finally come, the day I’ve been waiting for for the last six months. I woke up at around 6 :30, took a shower, fried some eggs and made some coffee. After a quick, somehow disturbed breakfast, I wore some of my fanciest outfits, took my bag, and left the house. « Oh crap ! » I muttered, « I forgot my keys » I texted my mom who was gone to work long ago. As I took a first step down the door step, I splashed my feet into a muggy puddle of water. « Oh s**t ! » I ground as I saw a big stain of mug on each of my coat, throusers, and shoes, my frickin’ new shoes !!! « Ugh ! I hate this »

The way to the store is usually really short, but it felt like I was walking forever. Maybe because I felt super tired and sleepy to the point I was walking with eyes closed, or maybe because walking under the rain in this awful weather with new, yet stained clothes pissed me off. All I know is that morning was definitely not mine.

As I said, I was falling asleep as I went further in this damn road, and nothing could have awfully waken me up more than my phone ringing so loud. « Hello ? » I kicked it off yawning. « Hello pretty » Kai started playing the fun « Where are you ? » He asked. « Spare me Kai ! I’m soon there » I replied sighing before I hung up. Three minutes later, I arrived…

- « Somebody seems to have had a rough morning. » Kai said walking towards me as I came in to the store and took my coat off. We hugged. « You’re… » He added

- « I know what you’re going to say, I’m late » I rushed interrupting him. « Let’s just get started, shall we ? »

Kai’s POV :

It’s really funny how Nico turns up slightly late looking messed up like a little bird that fell in a puddle of water. He looks really cute when he’s that annoyed, haha ! Anyway, after he came, we had a little work in the store to finish before we headed to university for a couple classes at 8 :45, but we didn’t know what was waiting for us. We turned in to class, in the middle of doing a writing class assignment when the university consular , Miss Van deirson, called out both of our names, me and Nico, to head to the headmaster’s office immediately. I turned left towards Nico pressing on his lap and asking with concern : « What have you done ?! » « What ? Nothing !! » He replied quick defending himself .
