Black

Black

A Poem by kaitlynz

A brilliance of colors

Streaking past, all blurred

The flashes, the people

Beautiful, I've heard

What does it look like?

I've nearly forgotten.

What good is light,

When your world has gone rotten?

I can look all I want

I can take a step back

But none of it matters

When your world has gone black.

A blinding darkness

One dismal streak

Until hell freezes over

Until God goes weak

After reading this, my mind went to that song. There must have been a reason for the flow.
