And I Will Always Love YouA Poem by Kaitlyn RaifordDays come and go, And I've found that you do, too. But I'm tired of watching you leave, Tired of wishing you'd see this through. And I know you've got to know, That no matter what I'll love you. So what is keeping you with your feet on the ground, As I'm looking down to you? I'm holding my hand out, And I'm hoping that you'll take it. I know it's a risk to give you my heart- When there's so many ways to break it. But maybe it's alright, If you do or don't- Though I'm really hoping that this time, There's a chance that you won't. Theres nothing more I could want, Than to be right by your side. But I can't say that you want the same- I can't control what you'll decide. But I'm hoping there's a chance- I always have and I know I will. So tell me, as I'm inviting you in, Why are you standing still? You've went through the trouble, To find and open my door- Yet as I'm asking to see your eyes, They're glued straight to the floor. And if I gave you my hand now, would it be any different than it was then? Tell me, what would your answer be... If I decided to let you in again?
