Hell on Earth

Hell on Earth

A Poem by Kaitlyn Raiford

Poisoned air and burning skies.

Air filled with smoke and crystal ice.

Blood spilling to the ground-

Here in life, Hell is found.

Lips move, but tongues don't speak.

Eyes are sewn to keep from seeing.

But down here, in this Hell,

What is it that you'd want to see?

Rumors feed upon young flesh.

They gather around and ultimately spread.

But down here, this Hell on Earth-

It is for you to expect.
