This is not realy what i do! just to let everyone know I DON'T CUT! It's fictional

How can I sit here

Thinking you really love me

Thinking we could be more than "friends"

Thinking that was for me

 

How could I be

So stupid

So vunerable

So convinced

 

Why would I

Even try

Even think you liked me

Even think we were in love

 

What did I do

To get this

Toture

This heartbreak

 

Why did I

Make these

Bloody marks

That go across my wrists

 

Why did I

My life

Come to an end

Sounds like life to me, such is the human condition. Good poem, depressing stuff.

On a personal level, i have friends who have cut themselves in the past and you seem to capture the feelings they go through quite accuratley, so you probably relate. On an emotional level, this was quite powerful and i can relate on some levels.
In a nutshell, this was good.:)
