Stop the Hate

I am pro-choice. I am pro marriage equality. And I’m not very religious. But I don’t hate people who disagree with me unless they shove their opinions down my throat.

All of this hate has got to stop.

I disagree with conservatives but I don’t hate them. That being said, the thing that bothers me most about conservatives isn’t that they’re pro-life or anti-gay rights, but that they feel government has any say in the matter of personal liberties.

We’re all entitled to our opinions, but no one is entitled to force their opinions on someone else. I can respect your pro-life outlook on abortion. I can not respect your choice to bring your opinions into government and have a say in how other people live their lives.

I’m tired of the homophobic bull s**t that says as soon as gays get government-sanctioned marriages, schools are going to start “preaching homosexuality”.

I’m tired of the religious damning people different than them to hell with their words.

I’m tired of atheists and non-believers spewing hate towards the religious for having faith in something larger than themselves.

I’m tired of government making my and your personal decisions.

I’m just tired of all the hate.
