Children of the Moon

I close the door on reality so I can be reborn

Through skeletal being and human flesh

I claw at a raging beast of self destruction

And self sacrifice of shaking hands

 

The antichrist

The girl who needs taming

But she flies away with shooting stars

And smiles when death comes unannounced

 

They say that we all die alone

I breathe it in slowly

Calmly

Willingly

Wingless flights with the angels

brings us crumbling to the ground

 

This digestion of colors with inconsistent meaning

And a slow satisfaction as my soul melts

Decays the core with decreasing innocence

Brings me to the sea where it dances with crashing waves and muted light

Melodic recurrence in my dazed mind and waking nightmares of numbed relevance

 

But it's still on repeat  and I missed the wishing hour

The perfect storm and doomsday explode in lucid intervals

I can understand it even as the world turns to ashes

Spinning out of control it plummets into darkness

This one kinda brings me to a place of desparation and maybe has a more solemn undertone.
You communicated this well to readers, or at least to me.... but this is your poem and no one can percieve it as you did when writing it; but you've my input now.
