Reflections

Reflection in a window pane
The inward eye has seen again,
The face of the inner truth.
Grey hair and glasses,
Red veins in the cheek
Bent like a branch.
Hoping on hope in the reflections pane,
That you'll pass by tomorrow in cheerful gain
So as to face the peculiar shape
In the windows embrace.

Most of my poetry is in rhyme, not really into other forms of poetry.

Tony, this one means a lot to me having taken care of my mom for so many years. Too many people ignore the elderly, don't they? The compassion in this write is powerful. I like it a lot. Lydi**
