Messed Up

Messed Up

A Poem by Kailei

Every moment is wasted away,
I don't know what to say.
Everything I thought was true,
I crumbled because of you.

You tell me what to do,
You tell me what is "true".
I don't know where to go,
We all know that I owe.

Apologize consistently,
It's all my fault.
I'm reminded persistently,
I've come to a halt.

Every time I'm in the wrong,
I don't know what to do.
I'm criticised and ridiculed,
Its all my doing and that's true.

I can't make my own decisions,
Irrational and insecure.
I try to please all the others,
There's no way to reassure.

Don't apologize for being who you are. Thinking what you think. Doing what you do. Do you! No one should tell you what to do or what to think. Even parents are limited in this area. You are your own woman, and will need to exercise that ability. Be sure own your own heart and mind. No one else deserves that place ever. They may share it one day, but you ALWAYS be the sole operator of it.
