Words Never Spoken

Words put down but never spoken,
Worlds go on unbroken,
Creating an escape from
A world that simply seems to confine,
To chain and pin.

Creating a freedom,
Lost in a sea of words,
Imagination running free,
Your thoughts unhindered,
The words flowing from your fingertips
Like water from the stream,
Erasing all the pain,
And grief of the Earth.

Painting a new world
To your liking,
The taste of words like honey coating your tongue,
Like the sound of a hummingbird's song,
The scent of flowers blooming,
Raindrops on your skin,
A light in the shadows.

Words put down but never spoken,
Worlds go on unbroken,

Beautiful work! I love how you ended the poem with the starting stanza. The echoing effect it lends the poem is superb. You are very adept with metaphors, and your choice of words is, to quote from your poem, "like honey coating your tongue". A very soothing, calm write.
