Just Think

This was a school project and I decided it was worthy of WritersCafe

She stands alone

The soft breeze ruffles her hair all around her

She stares off

Distantly,

And thinks...

 

She thinks of life

The simplicities of it

The past

The present

And the future

 

She thinks of the past and remembers

Remembers the mistakes she made

The mistakes in which made her the strong beautiful woman she is today

The youthful acts of shameful rebellion

The simple goals she made

 

She looks at her current life

Her relationships

Her career

Her current goals

In which she strives to achieve

 

Then she thinks of her future

Mysterious to all

Will she appreciate the life she has lived?

Who will she become?

Will she ponder life as she does now?

 

She stares into the glorious scene before her

She works to relieve stress

All she does is

Stands there

And just thinks
