Crooked SmileA Poem by A Man's WorldInspired from J.Cole feat. TLC "Crooked Smile" off of Born Sinner Album
Crooked Smile
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder And when i look into her eyes Im just blessed to be holdin' her I tell her not to be pressed by the glitz and glam Of symmetrical girls To grace the pages of magazines Known as beauty to the world As she is... My world... I smother her flaws with love unconditional Kiss her imperfections once neglected And make love to her entire soul Cling onto her mind just to feed off her intelligence And beam off her personality Because in a sea deemed fake, Shes the only one who's relevant No, she aint all together But us together we face the weather Whether tomorrow will really come or not We let it be, Lost in each other as we create reality From a dream. A scribe never felt so good as she glides through my mind To the inspiration depicted by pen, No care to fear if this is good Like a straight 32 I just have a secret to let you in on... Your the reason for my Crooked Smile And I pray you'll never be gone. © 2013 A Man's World |
