a reflecting retrospective of a test-group society stuck in a cosmos with one silly powerful concept, and how that fictional society might react under said circumstances.
Contemplation on the possible thesis: "Thought Creates"
A society present in a system in which the nature and frequency of
thought generates the quality of experienced reality, would by necessity
be guided to think within a narrow bandwidth of so-called "mundane"
possibilities and causes, whether consciously agreed upon or not. That would be the easiest and most direct method of insulating the greater mass of participants from confusing and jarring experiences that fall outside of the spectrum of expected circumstances.
(such experiences would not diminish in frequency, but would by social
agreement be unsubscribed to as soon as they were identified as outside
of the accepted bandwidths, on the basis of a self-preserving distancing
from that which would alter the group-identifying method of the
individual who experienced it)
Were one to think in a non-conventional way, they would by nature attract non-conventional circumstances to themselves.
It is at that point that they would either identify themselves to their
peers by way of unexplainable tension over a difficult set of
circumstances not common amongst the greater grouping, or by their
absence of tension, and precipitated absence of common experience under
which to commune on the mutually accepted frequencies.
within
such a circumstance as a universe in which "Thought Creates", it would
be easy to classify a member of the group as 'strange' after the advent
of such non-commonality through the absence of similar experience,
because it could be subliminally deduced that they were occupying
themselves by mental means that were not commonly practiced amongst the
greater spectrum of common activity.
I welcome expression, but nothing's going to change in this piece. It was not written to entertain, impress, or flatter;
It was written to exist, and as any tree in the woods with nobody to hear it grow, flower, fall, sometimes existing is simply enough.
There is an angst that drove the complexity in this piece, I'll ruin the speculation: I'm tired of people grafting their worst-case scenarios of depravity onto me because I have goals that occupy all of my time, and choose not to drink myself down on the weekends.
May the joy of said weekends be prolific in the lives of every lovely person who chooses that for themselves, and may they as a collective kindly get off my ass for choosing to differ;
May the entire universe be filled with peace and joy, love and light.
Namaste

This is a rather academic piece which warrants some consideration I think about the nature of thoughts, which may be long or short term and not necessarily, rational, possibly reactionary, in the shorter term until reflected upon and revised, re-evaluated possibly with external input or personal initiative. Perhaps even wayward tangents could be characterised in the longer term, which again by virtue of such qualities are surely revisable? Certainly an interesting group dynamic is presented here, good work David.

certainly this could revisited, characterized, and energized with the momentum of a story; I'm sort of embarassed that I found this through a rant, but re-reading it now, I realize that this is most likely a piece of the thesis that will breathe in ever story of mine to come; if I was a tarot deck, this would be part of my major arcana.
So yes! there is long-term room for re-innervation, most likely droves of re-iterations; maybe not directly in this piece, but we'll all meet again on this scene, I'm sure of it!

Thank you again for the read-through and the motivating review!

Between the dreaming and the moments of meditation, this rendition of transition is a beautiful outpouring tapestry of sensation.
