Like a long hypnotic ribbon,
Words within him, Twist and swell, Beyond the casual disposition, Cosmic rhythms Guide and tell. Through strangest oddments, Harrowing odds, He smiles and nods, And scribes it well Through crude arrangements, Perilous tangents, The quill dips swiftly, A tale beheld. Though like a dreamer, Floats he gently, Each detail, like a love-note, Kept. And though he may To smiling, listen, When words be chosen Clever, deft.
