Forget Me So's

Forget Me So's

A Poem by Channing S.

If you are afraid of what you meant to me
Just know that you'll never pass by
Without meeting my eager eyes

Looking to reclaim what was lost
Seeking recovery at last

Onadio
Inaudible
Apologies that stem from me
Not understandable uncompromisable
Just like thorn branches of a tree
Persevering that is me
I pray that weeds don't choke you out
And my stems wrap around
Your bleeding heart
Blossoming

Tho I may seem to have forgotten
I promise my wood hasn't rotten
Not till you cute me down
Will I fall to the ground
So go on this is your decision

I sought the past in vain
Eyes clouded while it rained
Couldn't tell the difference between mine
And the tears of the angels

It won't happen again...
Your memories I collected...

Onadio
Inaudible
Apologies that stem from me
Not understandable uncompromisable
Just like thorn branches of a tree
Persevering that is me
I pray that weeds don't choke you out
And my stems wrap around
Your bleeding heart
Stained what a lovely vision

Gather round
We all came from the ground
Morning glories sleep well
Forget Me Not's
Turn to
'Forget Me So's'
As for you,
I compose another prose

The romanticized rose
Watch it decompose
Drop its well dress petals
Yes it will shrivel and settle
As the world grows cold

I'll grab its stem
And let the thorns dig in
Oh, in the middle of my garden
Where it all started
So it began
My blood ran thin
Letting the eroded palms of my hands
Slip into the cool fountain

No one hears me scream now

Onadio
Inaudible
Apologies that stem from me
Not understandable uncompromisable
Just like thorn branches of a tree
Persevering that is me
I pray that weeds don't choke you out
And my stems wrap around
Your bleeding heart
Oh in pain what a lovely vision

Harsh wind blew away your petals
I lay there in the grass to settle
As Orion's eye appeared
Quivering without fear
I wish I cut you dear
To clutch you in my last moment breathing

No one can see me
But the lost souls in the trees
As I crawl in the
Cold ground

Was it sad to see me go?
Oh I wonder
Six feet under
As haunting as it seems
I loved to see you wilt in misery

How comforting

Author's Note

Channing S.
Poem that was rather short that I ended up turning into a bit of a song and dance...
Yeah... Well, not a dance I'm not good at that but... Anyways. I would like to know what you think, is it a bit sappy or over dramatic I wanted it to have a theatrical touch so...
