Left Fragmented

Left Fragmented

A Poem by Kae Martyndale
"

Another high school poem

"

Missing moments
Fragmented emotions
Pieces of soul
Left out to dry
Heart vulnerable
To elements unknown
Invisible scars
Still bleed
When the moment
Strikes as right

A few notes
Of our song
Still make me
Fall to my knees
Stuck in a
Never ending cycle
Smiles
Follow tears

There is a
Closure
That I lack
A piece of me
I didn't get back
A part of me
Is still in your pocket

I'm left

Fragmented
