Where I Belong

Where I Belong

A Poem by Kae Martyndale

Where I Belong

The sea roars gently beside me
And cool wind blows against my face
As I stand atop the mountain
I see the world around me, full of grace

I should be amazed by this great beauty
But this is my only home
Where I can stand atop a mountain
And be all alone

Joyous tears begin to fall
And join the sea salt song
For atop this grassy mountain
Is the one place that I belong.
