Untitled PieceA Poem by K.N. HerznerJust a random piece I came up with.
Bloodshot eyes and cracked lips,
tear stained cheeks and bruised hips. Sliced up wrists and dirty feet, chewed up nails in utter defeat. Maybe I was born dead, then again, maybe I was murdered in my sleep. The roses in my hair and hands covered with lead, too afraid to jump or leap. Weighed down by chains until I choked, suffocating in the thick smoke. Crying "pretty please don't hurt me", through the pain I can see. Maybe I died with nothing left to tell, while you danced on my grave. Now there's nothing left for you to save, nothing left for you to scavenge or sell. So I dare you to say you can love another, because love has gone and died. © 2016 K.N. HerznerAuthor's Note
