The Key Hole

The Key Hole

A Poem by Kacee
"

Have you ever wanted to be someone that you are not?

"

I look through the key hole, I see it there.

Who I want to be, I sit and stare.

In awe of all the things that I could be,

Yet here I sit, stuck being me.

I've searched for the key within myself,

but I can't unlock this true wealth.

So here I sit staring through a lock with no key,

looking at the girl that I long to be.
