Seems life in all its light and shade can eat the spirit into masticated defiance or surrender! And, here you are.. screaming enough to anyone, someone, who has you by the coattails. Love the tone, ' stand and deliver your rubbish any more and you'll be fragmented!' Frustration can play a mighty role, seems you're front of stage right now. Read it again and would if could. cheer you on and louder.
Take care, keep safe from all the nasties here and allover.. please.. E!
I liked this poem. Honest and direct words and thoughts dear friend.
"I know, I must leave it all behind
this silly game you play - then I will
tap in,
stay in, the
unequaled stillness that awaits"
The above lines. So good. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

I read this and my thoughts went to the days I was a teenager and now how I am seeing teenagers behave nowadays, I played the game of teenage hood before now am too old for that game!! damn!! This poem has so many sides of the coin, loved reading as always
There are times when for our own sanity it's best to drop out. This reminded me of a work place scenario. A place too political by far for my liking where for peace of mind it was best not to get sucked into its rotten core.. Take a step back and rejoin, if and when the timing is right. So pleased I'm outta there now.
Goddamn right! We all curse too much. This one has the sound of the relationship wars, where one or both partners are into the drama game. In the theater, drama is entertaining; in relationships, it is downright exhausting. Tapping out, at least temporarily, is the part of wisdom.

Glad you did that. Meditation has helped me for a long time.
Even tho I read your poem to be about tapping into love & tapping out . . . this applies to my own struggle with being part of society. As a loner, I often want to check out, but then I check back in & nothing has changed, same ole, same ole, so I check back out again. I'm writing a book right now, which gives me the perfect excuse to tap out of the rat race for a couple months (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Currenlty I work toohard, too long - it's circumstance just now - I used to send much time writing - but alas that has gone by the wayside just now - people are frustrating and most of them have a low level of awareness - I consider myself very hish level awareness - so balancing the two (and I know I should) is what this poem is about .. lessons everywhere :D
It's hard to truly play on your own team, for yourself; but if done correctly, with a certain type of emotional honesty everybody can win regardless of outcome.
Years and years of hot yoga, jiu jitsu and wrestling taught me that there is a way to win properly and a way to lose properly so that all that really matters is participating/competing properly. An equal amount of growth can come and root itself deeply within you no matter the outcome. Respect your opponent and you will respect yourself, or vice versa.
It's still nice to win though... (i'm still learning how to lose properly i guess). You should swear more I think.

My issues is I am too damn busy just now and my bosses are fools - they make operational decisions that have a trick down affect they cannot see until it creates a deep pool - I see past their deisison and go - oh mutha f*****g f**k why did you do that? Then they think I am just making trouble ... only way to win there is o remove oneself from the game

Getting pissed off is usually something we can overcome by changing our mental approach, completely quitting something is a more permanent solution to what may be a temporary problem.

Smoke some grass and meditate for an hour, it works for me. I'm kind of an idiot though so...
The love game for me. I got sucked in so many times because I needed the game.
But now in my older age...I have tapped out as well, but I am totally comfortable
just watching from the sidelines. Don't mind being benched.
very Cool metaphor here.

oh my goodness ..so relatable ... its a win loose situation every every time .. when we allow ourselves to be sucked into someone's game ... its is by nature of self preservation ... rigged for you to loose .. if it were not so ... all those "theys" would not play .. i feel the frustration .. and reaching out, though sick and tired of it, for one's inner peace and equilibrium to be restored ... i think giving up in this instance is not "loosing" ... its healing .. love on ya girl!
