imagine that place 

on the edge of the universe 

where opinions are nought because 

thought does not yet exist 

imagine that place 

the edge of the universe 

ah … what clarity 

no division, no culture, no religion 

it’s … it’s all fresh … it’s all new

let’s roll, dance, frolic in the ‘all that can be’ 

colour ownership belongs to your creative inner 

help us to design a fanciful beautiful planetary abode 

for you, for me, for generations of all 

who are yet to come 

as we stand on the edge of the universe and 

take in the horizon that is not yet there

possibility exists … 

a bright future here 

only the lightest and brightest adventurers have arrived to

this destination, as

lessons were learnt by the arrivals from home

mistakes made 

rectified in the new, here, now, 

we can start over 

at the edge of the universe, 

we can begin to 

rebuild 

please adventurers 

let’s bring the edge of the universe, 

our newly manifested creation,

home to now

We, i think, are all in union with such a desire .. separations between us only in the mind ... we need to be different, accepting and kind ... the world demands our attention to such things near impossible .. most are busy making sure of the basics .. water, fire, shelter and food ... we have to be free of those weights before our hearts, minds and spirits can seek truth and spiritual comfort and assurance .. creativity sure to follow ... its the hope in your poem that speaks volumes to me this morning Elizabeth .. thank you!

I am guilty of writing rant pieces about the way things are going these days, but by & large, I try to keep it funny or upbeat. I think it's a cop-out to blame the year 2020 or whatever else people think has "done them in!" We are all responsible for trying to move the needle a little bit in a more positive direction. Your poem is a breath of fresh air becuz I'm so sick of breathing fomenting air. What I love is how you start out as if this were a farfetched fantasy but then you slowly reel it in closer & closer as if to challenge people to bring a lightness approach to the way they live & perceive life. As if you're coaxing people who are rigid in their bad attitudes, little by little, to see this as being something we can own, not just a farfetched dream that's "out there" pie-in-the-sky! this is like being in the Garden of Eden and not wearing any fig leaves to cover up our thoughts...they are not needed because everyone is accepting of everyone else...and there is nothing but love.
I would love to have executed the first person who came up with a prejudicial thought, or a hateful thought, or jealous thought...planted the seeds of division and derision.
this one got me going immediately....It is a coincidence as well...often lately I have imagined the earth being just land and water again...no human life at all...just peace and serenity...endless horizons..

Yes! But. as long as we take time to think, YET not allow so much time to pass that we end up being pushed by impatience and manipulation. Surely there needs be great and humane logic involved .. after all Man will be re.creating what great men are still trying to discover/understand. The thought, the desire you offer is nothing less than magnificent, dear friend. The though excites me.. does.

Meantime, think: who will guide us ? Tis said that the being, man or woman, who would be wise enough to lead us in a great task, is far too wise to take the job because that he/she knows not everyone can or will be pleased at any one time. What then? Mayhem, anarchy.. and worse?

Your words will make me think, dream and contemplate for how long? Smiling! Many hanks, hoping you say safe as safe can be.
