Slip Knot

Slip Knot

musings on human relations

Slip Knot

unintentional

tangled mess

we too and fro

between yes and no

the tug of you

stronger than the

me undone

I surrender

easy to surrender

at what cost

you take all

in return of affection

ladled out in a teaspoon

still, I surrender

easy to surrender,

to you

I am your strength

you take rise and

use me as your slipknot

darling, at least tell me when

you will pull the cord of release

so I too can stand back and view

my whole world come tumbling down

to rebuild

The reliance on another is dangerous. A seductive write boasting an underlying sadness. A yearning for a stare just to feel part of the conversation. Desperate measures it feels like. I really had fun exploring this write. Great job

Reads (to me) as a mixed up relationship
Should we try again - Why I want to split up
I want to rebuild - i want release

See what happens in time

Sorry i'm in a mixed up state just now
