A amazing poem for love my friend.
"please release your unintentional
stranglehold"
I liked the above lines and when love steal our mind and heart. A kind and gentle strange hold. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry for love.

Such sadness in these lines. Separation and divorce really cause deep wounds. Most heal over time, but some do not. The harder you love, the greater the fall. A great depth of feeling in your lines KWP. Very well conveyed.
It only hurts to lose because having it meant so much. You can never have one without the other. The good cannot exist without the bad. It's hard to truly understand loss as something that illuminates the good and that without it nothing can really have any meaning, but it's true... death is what gives life meaning.

And stay away from sheep testicles. Most TED talks are too pretentious for my taste but this one, yes indeed, is a good one. We all can afford to waste twenty minutes watching this one (and sheep balls are mentioned, quite graphically I might add) ... www.ted.com/talks/mike_rowe_celebrates_dirty_jobs/transcript?language=en

One of my buddies is going to New Zealand to hunt some kind of weird animal that lives on the cliffs. It was some weird name I can't recall. She tells me that New Zealand is one of the weirdest places on the planet in terms of terrain and wildlife.
Is it really that strange? Like, even stranger than Australia?

New Zealand is awesome - people are the best - so damn friendly!!! The countryside the most beautiful in the world, although I cannot imagine what animal they are hunting over there.
I did a mountain bike ride down Skipper's Canyon after I hiked the Mildford Track - man that rise was downhill and bloody fast - you can google that one. The bikes were downhill bikes and the drop over the side right there and in ya face. NZ is such a great place to visit :)

Anyone who does it for anything not sustenance related should first be made to wrestle a full grown Jaguar with their bare hands. Then and only then should they be permitted to hunt for sport.
Mmm the good byes are often difficult and the ones which we imagine to spend forever with they take away the smiles with them....this poem moved my soul thats the best way i can say what i felt after reading your words... loved it...
:)
We love because it’s why we breathe, and when it’s gone we’re left breathless. This is a wound that never wholly heals. The scar tissue remains, often tender, a reminder of what was. You’ve captured the beauty and tragedy well in this poem.
' .. in the space you left, I thought - I’d be able to breathe again.. '
When reading a poem with such strong emotional language, tis hard not to think of one's own feelings, to profess understanding or make comparisons. It's how people are. Same time, do we, do I, do that rather than analyse how you've laid your words, the skill and accuracy of vocabulary and grammar which - seems to me, by doing, dilutes the feelings so obviously felt by the central character?! I want to cry at the content, I want to applaud the creativity . Perhaps that's all i needed to say?!
This is powerfully & realistically portrayed, this excruciatingly haunting "goodbye". I'm reminded of being addicted to the drama more than being in love with a person, esp stanza starting: "why did we ever allow ourselves . . ." I'm also reminded of why I often left without explanation, rather than go thru those last painful throes of trying to explain & part with this mysterious "closure" thing! *smile* Sorry for smiling, but this is so sad & intense, it makes me laugh at myself for how I once did this kind of pining (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
a sad reality in many lives ... it works as long as it works :( saw a flash of a psycho in your closing ... if i can't have you no one can kind of thing ... i've probably been up too long without enough of a nap :) mature people can admit the beginnings the middles and the ends with grace ... not sure i would want to keep it going for eternity ... i think i'd rather have lots of flying around to do ... scatter sprinkles about or something :)))))))))))) very deep love poem ... V5 sucked me along in the wake of a powerful force ... the couplets gives me a feeling of comfort in reading ... like friends ... i think this is one of your top poems for me ... its real and universal
