Your message resonates so intensely with me, I can't decide whether to cry or masturbate! *wink! wink!* Some people get to this point at a younger age than I did. I was a slow learner, even tho I threw myself into every new possibility along the way. Finally I found "home" the way you've described it. Your tone is unusual & stirs up a strong sense of how ridiculous this search has been, when the thing we search for is within us. I feel this way about faith, as well. Great writing! Very original & relatable (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

We all have the capacity to arrive at this point don’t we? It just we firstly of all need to be aware enough to know where we are at to know where we are going.
I think I started to be aware on the day of my first holy communion. My father said to me ‘if you ever get sick of being a Catholic - just change!’ That opened up a world new world for me ...
Thanks lady for stopping by - you have inspired a masturbation session right now ;)
Your words talk of the love, warmth and security of home. Hang your hat and take off your shoe's is time to breath easy. Your poem gives off the good vibes of what home needs to mean to all us. nice touch.

Wonderful and wise words shared.
"strip yourself
naked of man made knowledge
you are already home
you always were"
I do liked the above lines. Hard wisdom we must learn. Thank you my friend for sharing the excellent poetry.

If home is where the heart is the soul belongs there too. I love this idea exploring the home as an extended temple of the body and mind. Really like this idea, keep up the great work.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh got naked last night and went in the hot tub ;} ... another comforting meditation for life ... we are already there :)))))))))))))))))))))))))) i especially like the closing and your use of empty space before it ... well done ... we do tend to run from loss of the ol' ego monster

ps couldn't quite tell who that is in the foreground of the avatar .. and that isn't you in the blue ...is it? .... anyway .. very fitting for your poem.
yes, we don't realize how good we have it...when we have love of those around us, that trumps any ego, any possessions...we do often get distracted by needing what we want rather than wanting what we've got.
this is a great piece that speaks to me on many levels.
