Surrender

The ancient art of surrendering oneself 

to the eternal

is all but lost. 

Many don't even own a white flag. 

Choosing instead to fly their own

colours, patterns, pictures. 

To give up the fight

doesn’t mean to give up individuality. 

Projecting our own reality 

through the cinema of mind 

creating you and I.

Thank you for inviting me to your screening.

The library of reality projections, 

is always full, 

we never seem to borrow another’s life.

I digress, 

it’s time to undress,

unveil your naked soul, 

tilt your head back,

exhale, 

give up the fight for this reality life. 

Moment to moment.

We. Keep. Fighting.

Stop.

Let us find the more.

colours, patterns, pictures. " In today's world, many mind wars go on. The gift of surrendering is rejected because of lust for power and control. Many don't even own a white flag because they are blood thirty and dark souls.

"To give up the fight
doesn’t mean to give up individuality. " I wish so many meditate on this strong statement. Low self esteem and I-know-it-all attitude is the individual that talk of war.

"The library of reality projections,
is always full,
we never seem to borrow another’s life." Because of Pride, library is full and everyone feel his or her life is better than another's. No sense of humanity love.

it’s time to undress,

exhale,
give up the fight for this reality life. " It takes courage to be who you are no matter who pushes you to the wall. To surrender the fight doesn't make anyone a loser in a battle that is unfit to loose one's life to. Except otherwise, when it is "fit" "worthy" of life and death, you indulge in the war.

Moment to moment.
We. Keep. Fighting.
Stop." This is a command that ends this poem in a fantastic note. I am 100% in support of your honorable work dear.

Do remember, to give up a organized idealized fight doesn't necessarily mean you have to stop fighting to defend your own personal identity. That fight never does end, even if you choose to pursue it very peacefully. . . the conflict remains.

I love about 99% of this poem.

Ever see an older sci fi show called "Firefly" or the movie "serenity"? Mal Reynolds is kind of my hero. (as much as a fictional character can be anyway)

Funny I was out with The Dodgeman and was thinking about this very thought this morning ... I mean we accept the now as normal ... but this normal is only a mountain of billions of perceptions shovelled on top of each other ... 'BEEP BEEP BEEP' that's my truck in reverse ... I want to go in reverse and find the original sin to start over my own way :D

Speaking of clean slates. . . ever read a book called "the blank slate" by Stephen Pinker? You'd love it, I just know it.

Sounds like you need a kindle or something of that nature. I've been "reading" audio books lately from audible.com. Normally I prefer old school methods but since I started doing that I take in more literature in a single year than I would've in 5. It also provides an excuse to run or cycle long distances while taking your mind off the pain and monotony of long distance training.

I have never listened to an audiobook - but yes - I do listen to podcasts by some cool people talking about life - and yes, with earphones in it makes the time when exercising fly - just goes to show when we focus on the activity we are doing (exercise) we made it ten times harder for ourselves - when you can zone in elsewhere you can run forever right.

I read books on my phone - I like the look of this one though - so it's old school all the way for reference - may even pass it on to someone on my travels X

This may sound silly, but, Joe Rogan's podcast is one of the most intellectually diverse shows on the planet. He's not just a comedian or UFC commentator... how he interacts with his guests is truly impressive. I cannot recommend that podcast more. . . for so many reasons.

Sam Harris is far better but, he's a little too erudite sometimes but his logic is almost flawless. (almost)

Okaayyyy - I have already downloaded Joe Rogans Podcast, been planning to have a listen, - i will listen to one today - I've been listening to Rich Roll lately - I enjoy the talks with the diverse array - also love hearing about the extreme sports people of the world - very inspiring - I got into The Moth for a while - that's worth a listen - and that fellow who does Bulletproof Radio is and intelligent one - not into his coffee though (all marketing which peeves me0 - they talk about some great things - learnt all about the Egoscue method the other day - Rich Roll diverted me to find out more about holotropic breathing - and of course I have listened to every episode of Guru Singh - his articulation of thoughts through metaphors is impressive - but that's what a guru does right :D

Don't know about Sam Harris - gonna check him X

You may not like Sam Harris initially, but if you give him a chance you will find something worthwhile. He has no political ideology, keep that in mind if you do decide to listen to him.
