Day 21 NaPoWriMo -

one cannot fear death

experiencing moments

one by one by one 

hold a moment in your hand

task it to simply grow

allow it shape from your mind's eye

in any direction, it can go

gently blow it from your hand to life

but don’t admire from afar

chase it 

catch it 

be in it,

be it....

one cannot fear death 

experiencing moments 

one by one,

you will be too busy living 

to give a moments thought 

to dying.

when you are dead 

you are dead

Whatever you write inevitably hits home, never mind a poem a day contest .. . Always feel that the true you is lurking, ready to say this or that profound or, near enough! In some way shadowy or more likely, vividly, you're saying, 'This is me, take it or leave it.!'

Your words here are so very true. So many, too many, profess to being bored, not knowing what to do, regretting what has been done. YET every day is a Lesson to be learned.. to be improved upon.. not left like waste ground.
