Tapestry of Self

Tapestry of Self

A Poem by KWP

Take my hand.
Together we shall
take the tiniest of steps
into the path of the everywhen.
Yes, along the way we shall stop,
talk, discuss, enjoy, laugh, dance and…
inhale the moments that don't matter and
yet can add to the tapestry of self. We can
feel the universe sing itself a lullaby
in the stitchings of our hearts.
 We will embrace under
stars long burnt out.
 We must share
 our offerings
 of bliss
under
 the
 all

not a bad lullaby of life to repeat...and the tiniest steps make sense...big leaps, we miss too much.

quilts wear out...so then we make new ones.

nicely stitched piece.
