Enjoy the Now - You are Already Home

of course I have always known 

my way home

problem being 

i get distracted along the path 

it’s just so full of pockets and 

bubbles of 

love 

happiness

laughter 

for me to feel the need to rush 

of course home is there 

and it always will be 

forvever more

so please excuse me if I seem to 

slow my pace to a grinding halt 

so I can 

cry

grieve and 

learn how to let sorrow pass 

home -

it’s like a golden orb of warmth isn’t it ?

reminding us that home is accessible 

at any time we wish

prompting 

pushing 

urging us 

to shed the illusion

to return 

but instead we dilly dally 

yes dilly dally is what we do 

in LIFE 

for life in human form is fleeting 

it is a duty 

to explore 

the in and out 

the up and down 

the deep penetration 

of madifying emotions

the typifying of elation

the touching of the stars 

and of course 

we are the stars 

all of us 

we were born to shine 

we do shine 

radiate life unto life itself 

we run in life 

fearful of returning home 

I always chuckle 

at how easily I forget

we are already home

how gently your poem took me from away, then close, then away ... from home and left me on the door steps of "...already home" i very much enjoyed this poem and the thoughts and feelings it drew from me .. so gently!! nice one Ms KWP .. hope the business is not taking too much from you ;)

Hey you - well yes of course a new business is all very consuming and I was feeling the pinch at the end of last week big time. I am however becoming more and more in tune with my soul (thankfully) and it was calling out to me to just do something to rest my head - so last weekend I did my third mosaic - and it worked a treat - one benefit of having me head so consumed is that it pulls me back into writing - thank goodness for that - how are you - whats happening at the homestead ?

well....do take cleansing breaths along the way ;) the homestead is fine ..thank you for asking! i will send some pics of things i am working on at the moment ... here at the cafe i am attempting a petrarchan sonnet .. just because ;) but it may be a while to posting .. what is that creature poking up out of the bushes???i know Aussieland has some strange things in the hinterlands but that is one funny looking fuzz ball thing!!!

That bird is a black Cockatoo :D ... yes please send over some pics - would love to see what's going on. There's a white amd pink one called a Major Mitchell which was named after my 5th Great Grandfather as he was one of the original exploteres in Aus - he engineered The Great North Road which was quite a feat back then.
