To Engage with Insecurity

As the sun rose 

he too rose to move

for the sun never found him

in the same place in time 

come sunset 

‘I am not the 

murky swamp

I am the ever flowing river

constantly 

changing,

flowing

like the river

I move

I transform’ 

He said. 

He was different 

to most 

always engaging 

with insecurity 

instead of 

running away 

from it 

‘I am alive

I dance

I seek

I turn each corner

climb every mountain

ask every question.

Surely if I make myself secure

I shall slowly 

dwindle and die.’

He walked through

seasons of time,

the fabric of life 

passing by he

transformed 

a little more

each day

‘The river 

begins 

way up there 

in the mountains,

cascading

streaming

dropping

flourishing

progressing 

moving

channeling

meeting the ocean 

demanding nought

transforms

and ~~~~~~~~~~

continues the flow.’

This man 

doesn’t wait 

for life 

for he already 

knows complete 

he is  life 

which leaves 

no time to wait

It's resonated to the echoes of love. Liked the imagery of sun and love, love & time. Sun makes love glowing more, though time leaves no choice, but the souls left lone.. with insecurities... in remembrance. Interesting poem.
