Ego Problems?

Ego Problems?

A Poem by KWP
"

... a very simple remedy ....

"

If you think you have a problem

that is - Your ego is too large

maybe you feel superior?

feel like you should be in charge?

If you feel like you are number one

better than the crowd

take this prescription to remedy

the penetrating ego shroud

LAUGH!

Yes laugh out loud,

make it strong

conjure it from your belly

laugh at life’s

absurdities

it makes your ego

turn to jelly

LAUGH

Laugh at your own uniqueness

Laugh at your funny ways

Laugh with your friends and family

Laugh for days and days and days

Even try a giggle

Laugh until ya wet ya breeches

Laugh, oh laugh yes laugh my friend

let’s hear those funny screeches

To laugh right in the moment

Yes laugh right in the now

Removes desire from the belly fire

Causing ego to take a bow

To take a rest yourself seeking self worth

Ahhhhhh …. a rest just from yourself

To relax and let the world take care

While ego is on the shelf

Ha ha ha ha ha

he he he he he

lock that ego right away

come sit and share a laugh with me

so laughing some more!!
we laugh a lot in my classes...i let my students know...i don't take myself too seriously...i do take what i do seriously though...

but ego is stupid...because there is always someone who can come along and knock our block off.

i like this...we do need to laugh more, and especially at ourselves.
