One goes to bed alive as the senses anticipate brimming dreams... but most wake up into the same hollowness of oblivion ... though the universe never sleeps...
This reminded me of a Japanese song band named Sleepwalkers, and I have to say that this poem has some humour in it. It's beautiful and I could imagine myself traveling my dreams. This is the best poem that I have ever read!

The whole shebang! " - I love the fun the writer is having here and the fact that they incorporate it into the writing - makes it something extra for the reader.
we are on autopilot a lot of our lives - not totally connected with the thing we call reality - the huge amount of signals that our sensors pick up and assemble as our reality.
I can hear the lamp rocker switch click the light off at the last line and leave the reader with lots of musings - in their own darkness and thinking...
Very cool KWP

What a Rape, Oh I meant, Rap! One of my fav. writes for sure!
To me, the write's full of fun that makes me smiley with such deepen words you've used to this piece. Sometimes, it's really hard to write such verses which make the poetry so easy-reading, but I think, you have make it all so easy-going. So smoothly you have written this. So peacefully you have shaped the game of words. Now, I gotta say that you have well played with words in this write that I damn loved `bout you & your write. Enjoyed the time with your pages!
Note: You (& your talent) goddamn getting damn hotter `n hotter, sexy than sexier day by day... night by night.. soul to souls (words to words).. hell, heart to hearts (creation to creations). Keep writing!

Life is but a dream in which we often walk with our eyes closed to that which we wish to avoid opening them only to see what we want. Well, not really, at least not always, but you get the point. I loved this write KWP! - FT
