a meditation ....

and within the inhale 

of breath

take a moment 

to think

feel

      seep

right into your essence 

notice 

what’s there …

burst of enchantment 

voluntary whim

gift of pizazz 

fire within

facets of now 

and the everywhen

free-flowing vitality

time and again 

outpouring of love 

pushing though the surface 

blanketing out

the minds ‘so called purpose’

for an expression of life 

in nature you be 

that is all - that is all

that is all you need see

….. and exhale to start again …..

perhaps but He still gets the glory for I would still be in a stagnant if not for him we all take too many things for granted.My wife is Filipino and over here we have to pump water from a well running water is a luxury and laundry is done by hand.I've learned to be more thankful for every thing that comes my way

You're poetry reads very much like meditation. These words bring me back to meditation sessions from years ago. I once had a teacher who said that we meditate in the spaces between our breaths. You describe that idea very well in the first stanza of your piece. When we make the conscious effort to control our breath, we can see our pure being. Your six stanza basks in the peace that results from contacting the life within, realizing how to purely exist in the world. Beautifully written, KWP.

I'm starting to believe that there is someting about the breathing that relates to the way you write. It is as if somewhere namely the everywhen you have manage to create a circle that allows you to have a view into aspects of Humanity that for most of us are hidden. Maybe to do with the asceticism you have incoorporated not only into your writing but into life. While some of us namely me get the destiny to live right beside the most used bridge of choice for people to jump as life has pushed them to the brink of existence. The expression written here are indeed timeless and imbued by silence. I hope they reach those who are in real need.
