At the End of Every Breath

reflecting on meditations

can i take your attention 

if only for one moment

can I ask you 

just to breathe 

within your breath 

follow it through 

be it

feel it 

see it 

notice - 

if you will 

the stop

the gap 

the break 

at the end of every breath

at the end of every breath

see what it contains 

nothing at all 

and yet

it contains the 

very reality 

in which we all reside

connecting

the I

the you 

the me 

right through

to 

the all 

the nought 

the all that’s sought 

right there  

the space

at the end of every breath 

there lay

no illusion 

no deception 

no confusion 

containing all 

containing nothing 

a continuance 

of being 

void of distraction

next time

you seek me 

please come

find me there 

at the end of every breath

an excellent meditation Elizabeth, over the years i have found many books along these lines that practice breathing techniques in meditation, you know your stuff, not just a kick boxer then huh, i'm seeing the spiritual you in these lines :)
