One for the girls ....

Today I choose to wear no bra

Not in the train, not in the car.

Today my b***s they bounce so free,

They wiggle and giggle and dance with glee.

No bra, my b***s are so grateful,

Its the under wire they are so hateful!

My b***s, my b***s I love them so,

They come along where ever i go.

Usually they are tucked away,

But dance they do - so free today!!

So come on girls let us embrace,

Freedom for boobies - there's no disgrace.

Ladies it is time to strip,

No bra for you - it's the new hip!

Walk out in the freezing cold.

Be proud of your t*****s and behold.

Cherish your n*****s set them free.

Like you and me in eternity!!!

Haha this is awesome. It's funny as hell, and yet speaks against women being obsessed with conventions and external beauty. Recent study shows that bras cause breast cancer. No bras = healthy b***s.

Sorry that I can't join your revolution.... not since the court order anyway..lol~~ Love the light hearted feel and flow in this poem...reminds me of something Billy Collins would write. "Dance of the hard-wired orbitals". Anyway, you definitely made me think and laugh and I say "wave your freak flag high" if that's what you feel. Killer title btw...although I am wondering why a poet who is obviously one for "verse" would write a poem which brings forth a question over form akin to 'free verse? Do bra's still relate to freedom or equality anymore?..A serious question. I know they are probably made and owned by men...but I have not thought to research it. The women friends I know DO seem to be VERY grateful when they undo there wires/straps so I guess they still hurt.....Hmm , Maybe I could join the revolution by wearing one for a week and trying not to scream. Nah...too afraid I'd probably end up enjoying it. Ah well : P

Why did I write this ???? Just for fun ... Just for fun ... I think we may have been discussing the topics at work one day ... Around the same time myself and a friend wrote a poem about Fanny Floss ... So it seems sometimes the depths of my poems just dance and flirt like a child through life ... Other times it flips thru the folds of eternity .... I love writing verse as it makes me feel like I am dancing and I must say that by the look of you ... You would look good in a bra ... interesting..

the woman I am currently dating ,has very small ones. And even at 43 she is so terribly self-conscious
of this fact. Which leaves me to believe that breast size, being able to look down and not see them,
or being able to look down and not see ones feet, weighs on a womans personal well being.
(I would say psychology, but this is not science just an observation). Do I understand......no.
Can I understand....yes.

Hey thanks for reading ... I would say that us women think a lot about our gorgeous bodies because of silly media hype right ... Live love learn ... That's my motto ... Try and abandon what we think we should perhaps look like ... Small breasts are lovely ... I certainly would not like biggies ... For me anyway ... Thanks for reading chick xx
