A poem inspired by another WC poet... :)

Humanity 

I love you so

I discover you in 

my reflections 

All around 

conditioned souls

patience awaits in

life's directions 

If I could take you 

Humanity -

hold you long 

into the night 

We'd watch the lessons

to be learnt, 

witness dawning 

of new light

Humanity if I could 

rock you so 

learning what it means

to forgive

I 'd sing forgiveness in

a lullaby 

within the chorus

learn to live

Humanity 

You beat the drum

the rhythm holds

promise to discover

Empathy lost and 

new love found

to make life itself 

our lover
