The Door with No Nails

The Door with No Nails

A Poem by KWP
"

just another life poem ....

"
Casting out across the fields
Sweeping through the skies so blue
Seeing all of infinity
Noticing sweet you.
 Seeing you always hiding
 Escaping from the now,
Chasing all the storm clouds,
Pouncing all around.
Grasping at mortality
Skimming on the surface
Patience knows no boundaries
One day you will recognize the purpose.
Burning the Nail in abandon
No desire for a place
Gathering up evidence
Your existence is your fate.
Always watching knowingly,
Biding time within your fears.
Awaiting the recession,
Within your heart you know it’s near.
Granted, you possess no nails,
No connections with the earth,
Walk a path to eternity,
Find what’s worth your worth.
Even through your running,
You always trusted your heart to know,
One day you would return home -
And, yes, you had to go.
The heart is ridden from it knots,
Your soul is free to bare,
For all the running that you felt to do,
The answers were always there.
You knew the path already,
You had traversed it times before,
The path looks like home now
Leads back to the nail-less door.
The door that has no nails,
For they have all been burnt.
No fixing to conceptions.
No fixing to what was learnt.
Opening the door now,
You breathe it long and deep,
Walking within the knowing,
The all, it’s yours to keep.

It's sort of like that invisible glass ceiling...
Except it's a door....

Sometimes we're afraid to journey to the other side, take a chance on life, a new career, a new life.
Takes a bit of dancing around, or skirting around the decisions we gave to make or the opportunities for our taking. But... When go for it, we know we're ready and there's no looking back.

I could be way off of course. :)
But while it's cold over there, it's summer here babe and my brain got fried in the heat today. :)
Great write regardless simply because it made me THINK. (Go figure...)

:-)

xx

This line more than others seems to be the keystone, the glimmering sheen of gold that seems to hold and distinguish the entirety of your portal nailed philosophy.
This journey is where our soul seems to divides. A door without nails seems to imply a life, our freedom willed in our endless possibility. It could be a coffin or it could be a door. The choice is in the traveling and the traveler. From youth to our implicit decisions, we have lead us our separate and yet unique eventualities.
Absolute Truth lies beyond our perception. It thrives within our individual experience and choices becomes that feather on the moon. We never knew of such a thing before, but knowing becomes our curse or perhaps our blessing. This is that which leads from stardust to our end of earthly dust. You seem to have a constant pace in your poetry and a balance that serves well in our destiny and freewill of soul. Would you want a prison or rather a vision in choice?
Let us let free from all we have all been chained to..perhaps suffering or perhaps joy, and let the knowledge of life and journey enter our homes and our doors will no longer be a means of darkness that seals the world without.
You say the individual perception helps your poetry, well, let us turn to Blake as he once offered in: ' "Auguries of Innocence"
"To see a world in a grain of sand and a Heaven in in a wildflower/Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour…….."
"
Every night, and every morn some to misery are born. Every morn, and every night, Some are born to sweet delight. Some are born to sweet delight, Some are born to Endless Night."
I truly do love this one-Thanks

A solemn write that is riveting. Wonderful rhyming and rhythm to keep the words flowing easily. Anyone can go through that door without nails.....and achieve it all. Wonderful work. Lydi**

:) cheers Lydi ... yes thats right if only we have courage enough to take the steps xx
Very deep and pure. Life is good and bad for most people. It's all how we weather the storms.
I really liked the ending.
