A poem about kicking and screaming through the lesson's in life ... only to allow oneself to awaken stronger, wiser on the sunlit plateau's once more ... life will always flow on.

The inescapable transition masquerading itself

- as a journey of fortitude

For the pioneer that possesses skill, 

courage, strength and determination 

To reacquaint oneself in eternal equivalence 

The universally holistic living organism

Dancing many tunes

Beating a single rhythm

One must brush away cloaking uncertainty 

Immerse in a lather of incandescent consciousness 

Greeted fiercely - hostile calamity 

Question why, oh why?

Faith slipping menacingly past desperate outstretched hands 

Stumbling, unseeing, fallen, broken 

Suffocating blanket of dense incognizance 

Hope diminishing with the light in stars at dawn 

Ambivalent surrender 

Rest 

Breathe

Awakening 

Basking in iridescent rainbows 

Lucidity gently replaced by clarity 

Sublime offerings of emancipation 

Dancing within golden sentience on harmonious plateaus 

High above located in clouds of serenity 

Nonchalant goodbye's to fettered known reality 

Acknowledgement of home 

Laughing once more - inside familiarity 

Remembrance of known 

Languishing within unconditional tranquility

Life's relentless necessity to flow on

Beautiful hope. It seems we people are somehow wired to push forward, to conquer.
Great poem writer friend! I really like these lines:

and
"Hope diminishing with the light tin stars at dawn
Ambivalent surrender
Rest
Breathe"
and
"Awakening
Basking in iridescent rainborws
and your last line full of hope:
"Life's relentless necessity to flow on"
This last line has no period to end it.
Betcha did that on purpose to give an added message of life's possibilities. Beautiful!

This poem was really fun and affirming to how we all understand the troubles that life can somehow be full of but also the opportunities to learn and then be able to be more understanding and kind. Ya did good! Well, I live in the Pacific Northwest of Oregon and we have a cool but not harsh weather. We are hightly influence by the pacific ocean. Alaska and Canada lend us their coolness and we supply the moisture. When snow comes it is harsh but not to long. Often we get beautiful gentle snowfalls. The whole area is very desirable for farming, gardening and nurseries.
